Formula Student
Formula Student is an annual competition in which student teams from universities around the world design and engineer a small, single-seater race car. The competition is run by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and is currently held at the Silverstone circuit in July. Teams are made up of students from different universities and compete under Formula SAE regulations.
Each team is marked on several criteria. These involve both static tests and dynamic tests when the engineering achievements of the team are judged and marked. For more information on the competition see http://www.formulastudent.com/
